  • Marketing and Communication volunteer

    Location: Remote Commitment: 5–10 hours/week | Flexible

    About the role
    Orbital Network ASBL is building a practical, local hub for Luxembourg’s space community. We will run Space Café events, and have lots of ideas for new initiatives that make it easier to meet, learn, and collaborate. We’re looking for a Marketing & Communications Volunteer to shape our voice, be part of a small comms team, and turn stories from our programmes into clear, consistent content.

    Key responsibilities

    - Be part of a small team of volunteers across content, design, and scheduling

    - Plan and run quarterly comms campaigns aligned with ON goals and calendar

    - Review and edit posts, help us shape our newsletters, and event materials for clarity and brand fit

    - Create and schedule content for LinkedIn and Instagram; support Facebook as needed

    - Work with programme leads to highlight speakers, partners, and community wins

    - Track simple metrics and adjust tactics to grow reach and engagement

    - Keep brand consistency across decks, posters, and partner assets

    Ideal candidate

    Strong interest in space, community building, and public outreach

    Experience in marketing, communications, journalism, or similar, at professional or volunteering level

    Confident writer and editor with a practical eye for structure and tone

    Proficient with Canva and the GSuite

    Basic newsletter skills in MailerLite or Mailchimp; light analytics familiarity

    Organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently

  • Website and IT Volunteer

    Location: Remote Commitment: 3–5 hours/week | Flexible

    About the role
    Orbital Network ASBL is building a simple, reliable web presence for our programmes (Space Café, mentoring, outreach). You’ll own the website setup and day-to-day tech basics so the team can focus on content and events.

    Key Responsibilities

    - Set up and maintain the website (Squarespace), including pages for events, news, and partners

    - Manage domain, DNS, basic email routing, and GSuite/Google Workspace housekeeping

    - Create simple forms (RSVP, volunteers, partners) and connect them to sheets or mailing lists

    - Keep pages on-brand and accessible; handle updates, backups, uptime checks, and basic security

    - Add simple analytics and reporting so we know what works

    - Integrate new tools (ticketing, newsletter, calendars). Light automations to be considered (Zapier/Make)

    Ideal candidate

    Comfortable with Squarespace or Google Sites

    Basic HTML/CSS edits; image compression and SEO hygiene

    MailerLite/Mailchimp, Google Analytics 4, Search Console

    Understanding of privacy basics (GDPR, cookies, consent banners) and ticketing

    Understanding of branding and visual communication
